Presentation Summary: Steve Grudzinski, AD6HT, will speak about the technical and fun aspects of rovering during a contest and what it take to prepare.
Speakers Background: Steve was first licensed in January of 1998 as KI6PFF then upgraded in late 1999 to an Extra class license sporting the call of AD6HT. Steve has been involved in emergency communications serving as the Deputy Chief Communications Officer for the Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service "LACDCS". After moving to Lake Elsinore with his wife Ginny, AJ6CW, Steve served as the Orange Section Emergency Coordinator, which services the Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Inyo Counties.
Steve has been contesting for about 10 years with experience on mountain topping and rovering some 1000 miles in the course of a weekend. He has worked all bands from 6 meters to light, and has a lot usuful tips, and fun stories aobut contesting. In this presentaion youll laugh, youll cry, you'll kiss an hour goodby.
