Presentation Title: PSK-31

Presentation Summary  Malcolm Levy, KO6SY, will speak about HF digital modes and especially PSK31, a mode that has taken the world by storm.  All that is needed is an HF rig and a computer with sound card. The presentation will aim to demonstrate the software with a live QSO,  if possible.

Speakers Background: Malcolm was first licensed in 1969 as G8CSU, a British VHF only license. He upgraded to full privileges in 1971 with the license G4ACU. Malcolm has operated most HF digital modes starting with RTTY some 20 years ago and was one of the first in the US to operate Pactor using a German made TNC.  KO6SY has resided in Southern California for the last 20 years and works with a leading electronic Test and Measurement company based in Orange County.
